Week 10 MLS Picks

Well that was fun! We’ve got whiplash from the ups and downs of the last month, but we’ll take it. A flurry of goal prop success in Week 9 propelled us back into the black. The official league injury report came out this afternoon so let’s peruse the menu for Week 10.

Philadelphia Union

ML -115

Real Salt Lake are missing five players this Saturday, including Diego Luna and Pablo Ruiz. They’ve also got three guys tagged as questionable. Philadelphia has some uncertainty of their own, like a questionable Andre Blake. But the Union are still the lone undefeated team in MLS and favored to keep it that way tomorrow at home. Philly to win.

Atlanta United

ML +185

The Fire sit below the playoff line in the Eastern Confernence coming into Saturday’s home match against high powered Atlanta United. Giorgos Giakoumakis has made his return off the bench last week and new stud CB Stian Gregersen is nearing match fitness as well. Chicago is taking on water, with seven players either listed out or questionable on Friday evening, including Brian Gutiérrez and Xherdan Shaqiri. We’ll count on the talent of the Five Stripes and Thiago Almada to grab three away from home.

Inter Miami

ML +115

Are we worried about Messi sitting this one out due to the turf surface at Gillette? Yep. But the idea of getting a Messi led side at plus money against the team at the bottom of the Eastern Conference is too tasty to pass up. Miami to win on the road.
