Week 19 MLS Picks
Thanks to an FC Cincinnati upset and a Denis Bouanga brace, we managed to eek out a small profit over the weekend. We’ll take it and run, because that was not a solid performance overall. It’s a double game week, so there’s no time to rest. The official league injury report came out this evening, let’s run through the Week 19 picks.
Columbus Crew
ML +125
The Crew travel to Miami to face a shorthanded Inter side that will be without Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Matías Rojas, Tomas Aviles and David Ruiz. In addition to that, Diego Gómez, Federico Redondo and Marcelo Weigandt are questionable and of course Facundo Farías and Nicolás Freire are out for the season. Columbus on the other hand should be rolling heavy, coming in healthy and winners in four straight league games. We’ll take the defending champs at plus money to get it done on the road.
FC Dallas
ML +105
Always hurts to bet on our rivals to do well, but Dallas looked a bit rejuvenated against St. Louis in their victory on Saturday. Minnesota is coming to town notably shorthanded and really struggled to generate any sort of offense (like another Western conference team we know) against Seattle over the weekend. With it being a short week, we’re (regrettably) going to ride with Dallas to take care of business again in Frisco.
