Week 24 MLS Picks
Back to winning ways over the weekend and we’re closing in on double-digit units of profit. The official league injury report came out this afternoon, let’s get into the Week 24 picks.
CF Montreal
ML +135
Both of these teams stink. But Montreal is at home and the Five Stripes are without three of their best players after selling the trio of Thiago Almada, Giorgios Giakoumakis and Caleb Wiley over the last month. It looks like Atlanta will fill some of those vacancies quickly, but the window isn’t open quite yet. Montreal to win at home at plus money.
Orlando City SC
ML +145
Orlando comes into the weekend winners in three of their last four league matches. They’ll travel to take on the Revolution, who will still be without names like Carles Gil, Tomas Chancalay and Dylan Borrero. Duncan McGuire has taken off to the Olympics, but the talent balance clearly favors the visitors. Orlando City to win on the road.
Colorado Rapids
ML +100
The Red Bulls are a good team, but they’ll be without their best player, Emil Forsberg, once again. Colorado is also a good team, and they’ll also be missing their best player, Djordje Mihailovic. The Rapids have enough midfield depth to plug the Djordje sized hole and get the job done at home in the elevation.
Austin FC
ML +145
For the first time all season, Austin FC has nobody listed on their injury report. Seattle played on Tuesday and have two home games coming up this week after this road trip to central Texas. We’ll ride the vibes for the Verde & Black, who have won six of their last eight at Q2 Stadium.
