Week 21 MLS Picks

Three straight winning weeks and all of a sudden, we find ourselves back in the black on the season. Let’s keep building on that as we close out the month of June. The official league injury report came out this afternoon, let’s get into the Week 21 picks.

Columbus Crew

ML +105

The defending MLS Cup champions have won five of their last six league games. They’re on the road against a shorthanded New England side that is on a four-game win streak themselves. There’s a significant advantage in nearly all facets for Columbus and on top of that you can see New England’s lengthy injury report for yourself in the link above, which now includes DP winger Tomas Chancalay, who tore his ACL and is done for the season. We’ll take the Crew to bring home three points at plus money against the Revs.

Vancouver Whitecaps

ML -125

The Whitecaps have dropped two straight road matches, but they make their way home to BC Place to host St. Louis City SC on Saturday. STL has a long list of inactives including Tomáš Ostrák and Célio Pompeu along with questionable tags for Klauss and Tim Parker. Rolling with the Whitecaps to win.

Portland Timbers

ML -120

Undefeated in their last six, the Timbers welcome the Loons to Providence Park. Minnesota will be without nine players coming into this one, including Hassani Dotson, who is suspended for his red card against Austin FC last weekend. Portland is clicking right now, we’re going to keep riding their momentum.
